Friendly , professional and went out of their way to accommodate . It was really cold outside and obviously when you have a door to outside as well as the interior foyer entrance from the hotel something that cannot be helped or I suppose if they haven’t got one installation of a heat curtain…anyway ,yes we felt cold one night in the restaurant by the weather. We installed ourselves in the foyer in front of the fire and immediately the receptionist turned up the heat for us , the restaurant brought our dessert into the foyer for us to enjoy in front of the fire , no bother. I saw the sane staff help a disabled gentleman at breakfast the next day , nothing was too much trouble. We had very accommodating staff behind the bar on both nights stay. Courteous and helpful. The rooms were clean we had a suite which was most comfortable and catered for our needs. The bathroom excellent with a large bath and dual use shower with a rainfall or angled jet option. Would have liked the usual sewing kit and shoeshine which weren’t included but I didn’t ask if these were available. It’s perfect for visiting the butterfly farm whis is literally next door but one. Overlooked by the big wheel ride on the opposite side of the river from the Shakespeare theatre and a pleasant vista . The cleanliness and eye for detail was on point . I observed the same lady reception staff member on walking past the sofas and chairs straight a cushion on a chair and observing the area for signs of anything amiss. Very nice to observe.

We booked a room in the Swan’s Nest Hotel as it is within a fifteen minute walk of the Swan theatre. We were welcomed by a friendly receptionist who allowed us to use the car park at a cost of half that of other nearby parking a few hours before our estimated time of arrival. Our room was clean, spacious and tastefully decorated with pictures of local architecture. The bed was a very comfortable super-king size. A nicely stocked tray of tea and coffee was provided. Breakfast was served in a large room with ample space between tables. There was a good choice of self served breakfast cereals and fruit juices to start with. Cooked breakfasts could be selected from a tempting selection listed on a menu and then brought to the table. I had a full English breakfast which was tasty and of sufficient quantity. My partner had avocado and poached eggs on toast which she throughly enjoyed. We both had coffee/tea and toast to follow. We enjoyed our stay and will not hesitate to return.

Check in was quick and efficient, staff friendly, helpful, good directions to our room and into town and things going on we may be interested in. The room was spacious, overall it was clean. Bed was very comfortable, pillows were also soft and comfortable. Tea tray was stocked well enough, had everything you need,ie iron, ironing board, hairdryer and safe. The bathroom was clean, shower over bath, but great water pressure, shower gel was really nice also. The evening meal in the on site restaurant was lovely, staff efficient and friendly. Food not overly expensive Location close to the river and town

The Reception staff were very welcoming . Check in was efficient and went smoothly. They were very helpful when we had queries during our stay ( such as which was the best pub to watch the football) The pub within the hotel was great. All the usual drinks available . Staff were very friendly. Like the fact that Breakfast was cooked to order and brought to your table . Good choice / variations of hot breakfast. Good selection of pastries and cereals . The natural yoghurt was deliciously creamy.

The Swan's Nest Hotel is perfectly located for visiting the RSC. The staff were friendly and helpful pointing us to a short cut to the theatre. Bistro Pierre food was very tasty and great value, our waitress made sure our order came out quickly so that we could head off to see "Twelfth Night" in plenty of time. After we checked out the staff were more than happy for us to sit in the foyer while I did a work Zoom meeting.
